Falling into Fall

The temperatures are falling, the apples are falling, and soon it will be the leaves falling from the trees. Sadly, summer is nearing the end. The kids are all returning to school and my thoughts are beginning to turn to inside projects. I have been cooking much more and even thinking of new sewing projects.

I have finished another eBook that I think you will love. This is a kid size seat belt cover! It’s available in my etsy shop. And I am on to new projects.

Here is a peak at my latest eBook

eBook Pattern.... Kid Size Seat Belt Covers for your Car...... by AbbyChase Designs

With that said, now that your thoughts will be turning to inside projects soon as well, think of making some of these for your kiddos or grandkids for Christmas!

Well I hope so, because Trendy Textiles does! To show just how much they love Sugar Snap, they have invited Melissa Averinos to join them in a wonderful launch featuring fabrics from her brand new Sugar Snap line!

A little catch up.........

**Warning this post is very long and lots of pictures!**

I am going to try an catch up on everything that you have missed in the past month.

Lets see.... Where should I begin?

I guess where I last left off would be a good place to start.

Remember the beautiful couple from this post? Well, they held the wedding in a little sanctuary in the mountains. It's actually her father's property and I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this place is! He has taken several old, abandon homes and refinished them. They are all on one piece of property and they all share the most amazing forest of trees, swinging bridges, gazebos, two zip lines, bouncing spring swings, a Joey, and pathways from gazebo to gazebo.

It is the coolest place. My kids were in heaven!

Here are a couple of the lovely pictures.

The leaves have been falling like crazy too! My yard has been covered in leaves several times over. The kids absolutely love this time of year.

Here are a couple of the Fall pictures I have been promising.

I also have them listed in my other Etsy shop.

Speaking of Etsy shops.............. I have totally stocked my shop with lots of yummy items for the holidays. Here are a few.........

And the girls from Trendy Textiles have been having a game of Mistletoe Marathon. Stop by and check it . It lasts for a couple more weeks!

Well, I think that is enough for one catch up post.

Buy three, shipping is free!

Just listed these cuties for your fall accessorizing and I'm offering free shipping on your purchase of three or more clips from now until the end of October!

Oh and remember this post?
It snowed yesterday.... It caked us with about 1/2 inch of the fluffy white stuff. The kids made a snowman and stomped around in it for a while. Then it melted and it was nothing but a muddy reminder. Keeping my fingers crossed for just a few more days of sunshine and less than frigid temperature.

I still have lots of fun fall pictures to share, but they had to be on the back burner, because I needed to get these photos edited first.

Congrats to this beautiful couple! I will post a few shots from the wedding after the weekend.

A snowflake I see?

Not quite, but it seems to be in the near future. The temperature has drastically dropped this past week as the wind has whipped through knocking all of the beautiful red and gold leaves from the trees. Fall is a beautiful time, but it always brings the chilling reminder that winter is near. I'm not ready for winter yet. The house is still only half painted, the wood is not chopped, and I'm not ready to be cold again.

Ok, now that I've complained, I can move on the fun part of winter. Hot chocolate and marshmallows, and Smores..............

Smores1

It's bright... It's flirty... It's so much fun, you almost forget it's winter when you see it!

I just listed it on eBay today with AbbeyRoad and guests.

Little, T had so much fun with this photo shoot. I just have to share a few more pics with you, because she was such a little poser. My family will like this, since this is about the only time they get pictures of my kids anymore, lol.

As for the falling leaves and chilling air... We took a drive Sunday afternoon and I got some great photos. I will post them next. (first I gotta get 'em out of the camera)

A new addition for the mommies........

After several requests for a pocketbook to match the Incognito Wallets, I was able to create this amazing wallet that features: Credit Card Slots, Checkbook Pocket, Change Pouch with Zipper, and Bill Pockets and the best part is that you can get it to match your purse and your Incognito Wallet!

I just listed it on Etsy

LimeDahliaMoneyWallet4

More new things in the works and I'm still trying to decide which e-book I should do first.

Do you have a preference? Leave me a comment and tell me what you what you would like me to write an e-book on.

A first for AbbyChase....

You can now get my very first e-book pattern from YouCanMakeThis.com.

It's for the Patchy Pin Pillow that I designed last year.

There are many more e-books in the works, since I design most of my own patterns. I just need to figure out how to squeeze a few more hours into each day so I can do all the things I want to. You know how that goes, right?

Anyway, now you can find the Patchy Pin Pillow e-book on YCMT and when you purchase it from their website, you will earn points or you can use your accumulated points to purchase it!

They are quick and easy, even if you are a beginner! Not to mention, you can just use your scraps of fabric!

So what's next on the e-book agenda?

Well.... I haven't decided yet. There are about 5 different items that I want to make an e-book for, but which one first?? Hmm.... I will keep you posted.

A sigh of relief.........

The kids are heading back to school tomorrow and that means that I will be down to 2 at home for a few hours a day. My 4 year old will be starting pre-school this year, so I hope that will help the two little ones bond more.

There are so many things I have needed to blog about, but unfortunately my blogging time always seemed to get filled with some other seemingly important event. So I will give you a quick rundown of the events over the past month and cram it all into one post.

We had a lucky winner on the MommaSassy blog. I hope she is loving her new hairflower.

FMhairflower-copy

You can also find one like this in my Etsy shop!

I have recently gotten out from under a wonderful load of brand new Incognito Wallets, which I made for a wonderful customer to offer in a boutique show this fall!

Many of these little wallets were made from the amazing Farmers Market fabric from Sandi Henderson. In fact, Sandi featured one of them on her blog recently.

Thanks Sandi:)

Finally, the Farmers Market on eBay is in full swing. Stop by and check out the amazing designers that are listing.

Here is the dress I have listed. (it's ending in a very short time, but I may list it again in my Etsy store, once I get caught up)

PetalParty6

and I collaborated with GlassSlipper for this launch. She made this amazing little hair clip.

Hairgem2a

and I made a lotus flower to match.

FMhairflower3

you can find it here.

Oh and my dress was featured on The Custom Boutique Child blog. Thank you:)

Ok, I think that's all for a day or so. I've got to get back to making those fun little Incognito Wallets. I will post more on the show when it gets close.

xoxo,

Mandy
